AN UPDATE FROM INCLUSION TENNESSEE
To our Inclusion Tennessee Community,
Since our founding in 2021, Inclusion Tennessee has become a vital source of information and programming for Nashville’s LGBTQIA+ community. That work has been in service of building communities where people can find a sense of belonging. During the last few months, Inclusion Tennessee has shifted its focus inward following the departure of our former Executive Director in July. We sincerely apologize for the recent outward-facing inactivity and lack of communication.
In recent months, the Inclusion Tennessee Executive Board has worked diligently to evaluate the health of our organization and consider possibilities and pathways forward. Unfortunately, after a thorough assessment, it has become clear that the best course of action is the difficult decision to explore sunsetting Inclusion Tennessee.
While this news is undoubtedly challenging, we want to express our deep gratitude for your support and dedication to our mission. Our commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community has always been at the heart of everything we do, and we are immensely proud of the work we have accomplished together. Thank you to Nashville and all of Middle Tennessee for believing in and embracing this work with us.
As we navigate this transition, the Executive Committee members of the Board remain available to connect and address any questions or concerns you may have. Though we don’t have full access to Inclusion Tennessee channels, please contact us at info@inclusiontn.org.
With gratitude,
The Inclusion Tennessee Executive Board
